What does brand mean? If you’ve ever seen the Coca Cola logo along with the byline, “It’s the Real Thing,” then you already know what it means. That's brand distilled into one quintessential iconic representation that
- Differentiates your product from everyone else's
- Suggests that it is better or somehow more to the consumer's advantage than the competitor's
- Endows the product with inherent value

IDENTITY
Identity, on the other hand, is reserved for the company that creates the brand. It encapsulates all of the preceding but makes them reflect the company, not the product.
