At Neural Tornado we believe in giving back to the community in which we live.

In particular, we would like to show our appreciation for our local grower and artisan community by offering our web design services at a not-for-profit rate: We’d like to help you reach a broader market by putting you online with a cutting-edge website at less than 40% the usual cost. All growers and artisans, if they are small and locally owned, qualify for this.

We call it the Local Growers & Artisans Project.

Its objective is to give small growers and artisans - who might not otherwise be able to afford website design services - the opportunity to compete online with the same (and often better) tools as those available to their competitors.

WHAT YOU GET

A state-of-the-art website designed to your specifications, with a content management system (CMS) so that you can manage and continue to grow the website yourself, adding your own pages, text, pictures, video, and anything else you might need.

We will also give you 2-3 free hours of training to show you how everything works.

When we’re done you will have a website designed your own way which you then fully control.

The actual cost of these systems is $1,460.

YOUR COST IS $595 (only enough to cover our expenses).

Our goal is to place our local grower and artisan community on the Internet to give them the strongest competitive advantage.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

You need to be a grower or producer of edible products that are locally grown or produced and sold locally. This includes but is not limited to fruits and vegetables, meats, diary, baked goods and similar.

Certain handicraft products are also eligible for the project. This includes candles, needlework, jewelry, and so on. Tell us what you make and we will do our best to help.

PLEASE NOTE

Although sales websites are included in this project, because of the stringent requirements for security inherent in an eCommerce site and the sheer amount of labor involved, we need to add an additional $225 to the $595 project cost. If, however, you are using the standard Paypal payment processing system (not Paypal Payments Pro), then you do not have this additional charge.
